This course will address health and safety practices for petroleum operations, risk management, safety of the work environment, and safety of the design followed in that environment. This course was designed to teach participants how to practice and apply safety tools, techniques, and management for the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries. Participants will be able to design and implement safety technology principles and practices, in addition to their ability to apply factors related to people, equipment, materials, and the work environment in order to create work environments. Safe, identify common hazards, design and implement systems to control and monitor them.
