Summary

The British Academy for Training and Development offers a training program in Contract Management, which is considered one of the most important departments in institutions. It is the engine of work, the supervisor and the manager of every relationship or contract between the company and other parties. The tasks of this department include searching for useful projects that are compatible with the company's capabilities to implement them for the benefit of the company, and preparing documents and papers that enable the company to compete in tenders and bids to implement its proposed projects, in addition to submitting according to the proposed conditions to implement projects according to the governmental, private or individual entity, by depositing the offer and supporting documents with the party requesting implementation, whether the company is the main contractor or a subcontractor. The tasks of the contract management also include coordinating between the various departments within the company in order to submit to tenders and bids and to implement projects. This coordination includes the legal department, purchasing department, sales department, financial department and the rest of the engineering departments according to the specialization. In addition to its role in supervising the implementation of projects and following them up step by step until the project is delivered. The contract management supervises the collection of the company's financial dues from the project owner or the party for whose benefit the project is being implemented, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract. One of the functions of this department is to notify the legal department of any breaches of the contract terms, whether by the owner or the companies, in order to take the necessary measures to resolve the problem.
