The British Academy for Training and Development offers various courses in psychology to understand human behavior as a whole, for all employees, especially those working in psychological, social, and educational counseling departments.

Psychology is one of the sciences that studies human behavior and the resulting statements, actions, desires, and emotions. It also focuses on human activity and how people interact with and adapt to their environment. There are many goals in psychology, and we will attempt to highlight some of them briefly and comprehensively.

Objectives and target group

What are the main objectives of psychology?

  • Understand human behavior and develop explanations for it, to help us understand ourselves and understand who we are and how we treat them.

Course Content

Psychology is divided into several theoretical branches:

General Psychology: it cares about the affairs of all people and talk about their public activities, which is the basis for the rest of the other branches.

Therapeutic Psychology: The psychological features of each stage of human development, such as the psychology of the child, the psychology of adolescence, and the psychology of aging.

Social Psychology: It is interested in studying the mutual influence between individuals or groups, as between the doctor and the patient or between the teacher and the student or between the staff and managers.

Comparative psychology: This section draws comparisons between different behaviors that sometimes exceed human behavior, such as the difference between human behavior and behavior, the behavior of a child in adult behavior, or human behavior thousands of years ago in human behavior now.
