Satellite Communication Training Programme

Summary

If communication takes place between any two earth stations through a satellite, then it is called as satellite communication. In this communication, electromagnetic waves are used as carrier signals. These signals carry the information such as voice, audio, video or any other data between ground and space and vice-versa.

Satellites communications offer several important advantages over other types of long-range communications systems: the capability of direct communication between two points on earth with only one intermediate relay (the satellite), the ability to broadcast or collect signals and data to or from any area ranging up to the entire surface of the world, and the ability to provide services to remote regions where ground-based, point-to-point communications would be impractical or impossible. One of the greatest advantages of satellite communications systems is the ratio of capacity versus cost. Although satellites are expensive to develop, launch and maintain, their tremendous capacity makes them very attractive for many applications

The British Academy for Training and Development offers a course of Satellites communications to anyone who wants to learn the latest trends in working within satellites communications and gain special skills in the field.
