The British Academy for Training and Development offers a training course on common faults of electric motors and their causes, focusing on reducing operational problems and difficulties while considering potential maintenance types. An electric motor, as is well known, is a machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to perform a specific task. It operates on the principle of an electric current passing through a wire that intersects with a magnetic field, causing it to rotate around an axis. Electric motors rely on electromagnetic forces to generate the power needed to drive machines or mechanical equipment. However, motors can experience various faults, such as an inability to move, overheating, slow rotation during operation, or severe mechanical vibrations, particularly in synchronous AC motors, among other issues. In this course, we will learn how to detect and repair motor faults, as well as explore different types of motors.
The courses are held approximately monthly or as student availability allows (with the possibility of arranging special courses to fit your schedule). The academy has multiple locations in various countries around the world, primarily across Europe, as well as in Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, and Malaysia.
Each participant in the course will receive a training package containing all necessary scientific topics related to the course. Additionally, trainees will receive a certificate of attendance from the academy, indicating their participation in the training course on common electric motor faults and their causes.
