Summary

If you have a passion for both sports and writing, the British Academy for Training and Development is pleased to provide you the opportunity to take the lead in the Sports Journalism industry. We enable you to develop your skills in the fields of both traditional and modern Media and Press. We also enable you to benefit from major broadcast organizations, newspapers, and Great Clubs.

Journalistic story is an unconventional type of writing in the world of Press, in which the journalist shall harness his skills and senses enabling him to illustrate the journalistic story for the reader, by presenting a vivid and dynamic picture of the event, and reviving the nature of the issues.

Journalistic story is not limited to one area and could be used in many different fields. This has led many newspapers, and news agencies to use them in the service of humanitarian issues in society, dealing with unemployment, wars, disasters, economic affairs, poverty, health and other important aspects of life such as Sports and Athletics Press, which is the major concern of this course.

When writing a portrait of a particular sports figure, the journalist must review a variety of documents written about him, such as articles and newspaper interviews, as well as making direct contacts with live sources of the relevant public figure, such as a family member or a friend.
